Updated prices as of April 15, 2026 for livestock products

1.PIG PRICE

Today, April 15th, live pig prices remained stable across all three regions. Live pigs are currently being bought and sold at around 62,500 – 68,500 VND/kg, an increase of nearly 1,000 VND/kg compared to last week. The South continues to have the highest prices nationwide.

Northern region: Live pig prices remained stable on April 15th, with the average price across the region fluctuating between 62,500 – 64,000 VND/kg, still 500 VND/kg higher than the price recorded at the same time last week.

Central and Central Highlands regions: No price fluctuations were recorded today. The average purchase price of live pigs remains at 64,500 – 66,500 VND/kg, 1,500 VND/kg higher than last week.

Southern region: Live pig prices on April 15th remained unchanged, with traders currently purchasing live pigs at around 68,000 – 68,500 VND/kg, nearly 1,500 VND/kg higher than the same time last week.

Live pigs of the GF24 generation, raised according to Greenfeed’s standard process, with meat quality receiving many positive reviews from traders, are currently selling at a price 500 – 1,000 VND/kg higher than the average price offered by other companies.

2.POULTRY PRICE

Northern Ri chicken prices remained unchanged on April 15th, with traders buying Ri chickens at around 50,500 – 52,000 VND/kg.

Northern Mia chicken prices increased by 1,000 VND/kg in the provinces south of the Red River Delta. Accordingly, the average price of Mia chicken in the North is fluctuating between 50,500 – 52,000 VND/kg.

Minh Du chicken prices continued to show positive developments in the Southern provinces. Specifically, the Southern provinces recorded an increase of 1,000 – 1,500 VND/kg in most provinces and cities, bringing Minh Du chicken prices in the Southeast to 37,800 – 37,500 VND/kg and around 41,000 – 42,000 VND/kg in the Southwest. Prices in the Central region remained stable today, currently at 42,500 – 43,000 VND/kg.

Duck meat prices on April 15th continued their downward trend in the North and Central regions. In the North, prices decreased slightly by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently at 26,500 – 27,500 VND/kg. Prices in the Central region decreased by 500 – 1,000 VND/kg, currently around 31,000 – 32,000 VND/kg. The Southern region recorded no price fluctuations for duck meat on April 15th; traders are currently buying at around 33,000 – 37,000 VND/kg in the Southeast and 36,000 – 37,000 VND/kg in the Southwest.
