1.PIG PRICE

Pork prices on July 27th continued their downward trend in most regions nationwide. The national average price ranged from 61,000 to 63,500 VND/kg, averaging 62,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to July 25th and 1,250 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.

• Northern Region: The average pork price reached 62,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to July 25th and 1,750 VND/kg lower than the previous week. Common transaction prices ranged from 61,500 to 63,000 VND/kg.
• Central and Central Highlands Region: The average price of live pigs reached VND 61,500/kg, a decrease of VND 250/kg compared to July 25th and VND 1,750/kg lower than the previous week. The common purchase price ranges from VND 61,000 to VND 62,000/kg.
• Southern Region: The average price in the Southeast region reached VND 62,000/kg, a decrease of VND 250/kg compared to July 25th and VND 1,000/kg lower than the previous week. The Southwest region reached VND 63,000/kg, a decrease of VND 250/kg compared to July 25th and similar to the same period last week. The common transaction price in the Southern region is currently in the range of VND 61,500 – VND 63,500/kg.
• The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to GREENFEED standards) currently stands at 63,500 VND/kg, approximately 1,200 VND/kg higher than the national average price of live pigs, continuing to maintain its advantage in quality and farming efficiency.

2.POULTRY PRICE

The poultry market on July 27 recorded mixed developments. Prices of Ri chicken and Mia chicken continue to increase in the North; Minh Du chicken decreased in the Central and Southeast regions but increased slightly in the Southwest provinces; while duck meat prices decreased in the North and Central regions but increased in the southern provinces.

• The price of Ri chicken in the North increased by 500 VND/kg compared to July 25, currently trading between 42,000 – 44,500 VND/kg.
• The price of Mia chicken in the North increased by 250 VND/kg compared to July 25, currently fluctuating between 41,500 – 46,500 VND/kg. In the Central region, prices remained stable, commonly traded at 35,500 – 36,500 VND/kg.
• The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 40,000 VND/kg, unchanged compared to July 25. In the Central region, it decreased slightly by 500 VND/kg today, currently fluctuating between 38,500 – 39,000 VND/kg. The Southeast also decreased by 500 VND/kg, trading in the range of 38,750 – 40,000 VND/kg. On the other hand, the Southwestern provinces increased slightly by 500 VND/kg, reaching 39,000 – 42,000 VND/kg.
• The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 37,000 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg compared to July 25. The North decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, currently trading between 31,000 – 33,250 VND/kg. The Central region reduced the price by 750 VND/kg, commonly at 32,000 – 43,000 VND/kg. On the other hand, the Southeast increased by 1,000 VND/kg, currently reaching 40,500 – 47,000 VND/kg; The Southwest increased by 750 VND/kg, commonly at 46,500 – 48,000 VND/kg.
