On August 4, 2026 Ri chicken prices increased slightly

On August 4th, the poultry market saw a slight increase in Ri chicken prices in the North, while Mia chicken prices decreased in the North but remained stable in the Central region. Minh Du chicken prices continued to fall in the Southwest, while duck meat prices recovered in the South.

• Ri chicken prices in the North increased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently trading between 44,000 and 46,000 VND/kg.
• Mia chicken prices in the North decreased by 750 VND/kg compared to August 3rd, currently fluctuating between 42,000 and 46,000 VND/kg. In the Central region, prices remained stable around 35,500-36,000 VND/kg.
• The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 37,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 250 VND/kg compared to August 3rd. Prices in Central Vietnam remained stable at around 36,500 – 37,500 VND/kg. Prices in the Southeast region remained stable, trading at around 37,250 – 37,500 VND/kg. Prices in the Southwest region decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently fluctuating between 36,500 – 39,500 VND/kg.
• The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 39,000 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to August 3rd. Prices in Northern Vietnam remained stable, currently trading at around 34,500 – 36,500 VND/kg. Prices in Central Vietnam remained stable at 35,500 – 43,500 VND/kg. Prices in the Southeast region increased by 500 VND/kg, currently reaching 42,000 – 45,500 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices increased by 1,000 VND/kg, commonly ranging from 45,500 to 46,500 VND/kg.
