On June 9th, the price of colored chickens in the Northern region continued its downward trend, while Minh Du chicken prices continued to rise in the Southern provinces. Duck meat prices on June 9th showed contrasting trends in the North and South.
- The price of Ri chickens in the North continued to decrease today, June 9th, with a drop of approximately 1,000 – 1,500 VND/kg compared to June 8th. Currently, traders are buying Ri chickens at around 44,000 – 45,000 VND/kg.
- The price of Mia chickens in the North decreased by 500 VND/kg in the South of the Red River Delta but saw a slight increase of 500 VND/kg in the North. Accordingly, the average price of Mia chickens in the North is currently around 47,500 – 48,500 VND/kg.
- Minh Du chicken prices remained stable on June 9th in the Central region, currently fluctuating between 44,000 and 46,500 VND/kg. The Southeast region continued to increase by 1,000 VND/kg on June 9th, reaching 47,000-48,000 VND/kg. The Southwest region recorded no price fluctuations today, currently trading at 47,000-48,000 VND/kg.
- Duck meat prices on June 9th showed mixed trends. The Northern region continued to decrease by nearly 500 VND/kg on June 9th, currently at 48,000-49,000 VND/kg. The Central region saw a slight decrease of 500 VND/kg, currently at 33,500-39,500 VND/kg. Prices in Southern provinces increased by 500-1,500 VND/kg on June 9th, bringing the purchase price in the Southeast region to 34,000-35,000 VND/kg and around 34,000-35,000 VND/kg in the Southwest region.
