The poultry market on July 27 recorded mixed developments. Prices of Ri chicken and Mia chicken continue to increase in the North; Minh Du chicken decreased in the Central and Southeast regions but increased slightly in the Southwest provinces; while duck meat prices decreased in the North and Central regions but increased in the southern provinces.

  • The price of Ri chicken in the North increased by 500 VND/kg compared to July 25, currently trading between 42,000 – 44,500 VND/kg.
  • The price of Mia chicken in the North increased by 250 VND/kg compared to July 25, currently fluctuating between 41,500 – 46,500 VND/kg. In the Central region, prices remained stable, commonly traded at 35,500 – 36,500 VND/kg.
  • The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 40,000 VND/kg, unchanged compared to July 25. In the Central region, it decreased slightly by 500 VND/kg today, currently fluctuating between 38,500 – 39,000 VND/kg. The Southeast also decreased by 500 VND/kg, trading in the range of 38,750 – 40,000 VND/kg. On the other hand, the Southwestern provinces increased slightly by 500 VND/kg, reaching 39,000 – 42,000 VND/kg.
  • The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 37,000 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg compared to July 25. The North decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, currently trading between 31,000 – 33,250 VND/kg. The Central region reduced the price by 750 VND/kg, commonly at 32,000 – 43,000 VND/kg. On the other hand, the Southeast increased by 1,000 VND/kg, currently reaching 40,500 – 47,000 VND/kg; The Southwest increased by 750 VND/kg, commonly at 46,500 – 48,000 VND/kg.
