1.PIG PRICE

Pork prices on July 23rd continued their downward trend in most regions nationwide. The national average price ranged from 61,500 to 64,500 VND/kg, averaging 63,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 2,000 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.

• Northern Region: The average pork price reached 63,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 2,500 VND/kg lower than last week. Common transaction prices ranged from 62,500 to 64,500 VND/kg.
• Central and Central Highlands Region: The average pork price reached 62,000 VND/kg, remaining stable compared to yesterday but still 2,250 VND/kg lower than last week. Common purchase prices range from 61,500 to 63,000 VND/kg.
• Southern Region: The average price in the Southeast region reached 62,000 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,500 VND/kg lower than last week. The average price in the Southwest region reached 62,500 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 500 VND/kg lower than last week. The common transaction price in the Southern region is currently in the range of 62,000 – 63,000 VND/kg.
• The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) is currently 64,000 VND/kg, about 1,300 VND/kg higher than the national average price of live pigs, continuing to maintain its advantage in quality and farming efficiency.

2.POULTRY PRICE

Poultry market on July 23rd: Ri chicken prices continued to increase slightly in the North, Mia chicken prices continued to decrease in the Northern provinces, Minh Du chicken prices remained stable, while duck meat prices continued to fall compared to yesterday.

• Ri chicken prices in the North increased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently trading in the range of 40,500 – 43,500 VND/kg.
• Mia chicken prices in the North decreased by 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating in the range of 40,000 – 46,000 VND/kg. Prices in the Central region also recorded a decrease of nearly 1,000 VND/kg, currently trading in the range of 35,000 – 36,000 VND/kg.
• The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 40,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. Prices in the Central region remained stable in the range of 39,000 – 39,500 VND/kg. Southern provinces also recorded no price fluctuations today, with traders currently buying at around 39,750 – 41,000 VND/kg in the Southeast region and 40,000 – 42,000 VND/kg in the Southwest region.
• The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 37,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday. The North recorded no price fluctuations, currently around 32,500 – 34,750 VND/kg. The Central region decreased by 750 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently at 34,000 – 44,500 VND/kg. The Southeast region decreased by 250 VND/kg, trading in the range of 41,000 – 45,500 VND/kg, while the Southwest region remained stable at 44,500 – 46,000 VND/kg.
