Poultry market on August 24th: Ri chicken prices remained stable in the Northern provinces, while Mia chicken prices decreased slightly. Minh Du chicken prices remained unchanged in the Central provinces but increased slightly in the Southeast region. Meanwhile, duck meat prices showed an upward trend in the North, Central, and Southeast regions, while the Southwest region saw a decrease.

  • Ri chicken prices in the North remained stable compared to August 22nd, currently trading in the range of 44,500 – 47,000 VND/kg.
  • Mia chicken prices in the North decreased by 500 VND/kg compared to August 22nd, currently fluctuating in the range of 44,000 – 48,000 VND/kg. In the Central region, Mia chicken prices continued to remain stable at 37,500 VND/kg.
  • The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 36,000 VND/kg, unchanged compared to August 22nd. Prices in Central Vietnam remained stable at around 35,000 – 36,500 VND/kg. The Southeast region saw a slight increase of 250 VND/kg, currently reaching 34,750 – 37,000 VND/kg. The Southwest region recorded no price fluctuations, currently generally ranging from 35,500 – 37,500 VND/kg.
  • The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 42,500 VND/kg, an increase of 750 VND/kg compared to August 22nd. The North saw a sharp increase of 1,000 VND/kg, currently trading in the range of 36,000 – 45,500 VND/kg. The Central region increased by 1,500 VND/kg, bringing the purchase price to 46,500 – 49,000 VND/kg. The Southeast region increased by 750 VND/kg, currently trading in the range of 47,500 – 49,000 VND/kg. Conversely, in the Southwest region, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg, with traders currently buying at around 45,000 – 48,000 VND/kg.
