Updated prices as of April 13, 2026 for livestock products

1.PIG PRICE

Today, April 13th, live pig prices have risen again in the Southern provinces. According to the latest reports, live pigs are being bought and sold at around 62,000 – 68,500 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg compared to April 11th and nearly 900 VND/kg higher than last week. The South continues to have the highest prices nationwide.

In the Northern region: live pig prices remained stable on April 13th, with the average price across the region currently at 62,000 – 63,000 VND/kg, nearly 500 VND/kg higher than the price recorded at the same time last week.

Central and Central Highlands regions: Live pig prices remained unchanged today, April 13th. The average purchase price in this region is currently between 63,500 and 66,500 VND/kg, an increase of nearly 1,000 VND/kg compared to last week.

Southern region: Live pig prices in this region increased by 500-1,000 VND/kg compared to April 11th, pushing the purchase price for traders up to 68,000-68,500 VND/kg, nearly 1,500 VND/kg higher than the same time last week.

Pigs from the GF24 generation, raised according to Greenfeed’s standard procedures, with meat quality receiving many positive reviews from traders, are currently selling for 500-1,000 VND/kg higher than the average price offered by other companies.

2.POULTRY PRICE

On April 13th, the price of Ri chicken in Northern Vietnam increased by 500 VND/kg in the North Red River Delta region, but remained stable in the South Red River Delta provinces, bringing the price for traders in the region to 51,000 – 52,500 VND/kg.

The price of Mia chicken in Northern Vietnam also saw a slight increase of 500 VND/kg in the North Red River Delta provinces. Accordingly, the average price of Mia chicken in Northern Vietnam is currently fluctuating between 49,500 – 51,000 VND/kg.

The price of Minh Du chicken on April 13th showed mixed trends. The Central region maintained its price on April 13th, fluctuating between 42,500 – 43,000 VND/kg. The Southeast region saw a slight decrease of 500 VND/kg, now at 35,500 – 37,000 VND/kg. Conversely, prices in the Southwestern provinces increased slightly by 500 VND/kg to 39,500 – 40,500 VND/kg.

Duck meat prices on April 13th decreased in all regions nationwide. Specifically, in the North, prices fell by 1,000 VND/kg compared to April 11th, currently at 28,000 – 28,500 VND/kg. In the Central region, prices decreased by 1,000 – 1,500 VND/kg, currently fluctuating between 33,500 – 34,500 VND/kg. Prices for duck meat in Southern provinces have dropped sharply by 4,000 – 6,000 VND/kg. Currently, the price in the Southeast region is 34,000 – 38,000 VND/kg, and 38,000 – 39,000 VND/kg in the Southwestern provinces.
