Pork prices on June 30th continued their slight downward trend nationwide. The average price of live pigs currently fluctuates between 61,500 and 65,000 VND/kg, reaching an average of 63,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,750 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.
- Northern region: The average price of live pigs reached 64,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 2,500 VND/kg lower than last week. Prices in most localities are trading between 63,000 and 65,000 VND/kg.
- Central and Central Highlands region: The average price of live pigs reached 62,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. The prevailing purchase price currently ranges from 61,500 to 63,000 VND/kg.
- Southern region: Live pig prices continued to adjust downwards on June 30th. The Southeast region saw a decrease of 500 VND/kg, down to 62,000 VND/kg, and 750 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. The Southwest region decreased by 250 VND/kg, to 62,500 VND/kg, also 500 VND/kg lower than last week. The prevailing transaction price in the Southern region is currently between 62,000 and 63,000 VND/kg.
- The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to GREENFEED standards) is currently 64,500 VND/kg, about 1,000 VND/kg higher than the national average pig price, continuing to maintain a positive difference thanks to the quality and uniformity of the pig herd.
