1.PIG PRICE

Pork prices on July 20th continued to fall across the board. The nationwide price ranged from 62,500 to 64,500 VND/kg, averaging 63,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 1,000 VND/kg compared to July 18th and 1,750 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.

  • Northern region: The average pork price reached 64,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 1,500 VND/kg compared to July 18th and 2,500 VND/kg lower than the previous week. Common transaction prices ranged from 63,000 to 64,500 VND/kg.
  • Central and Central Highlands Region: The average price of live pigs reached 63,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 1,000 VND/kg compared to July 18th and 1,250 VND/kg lower than the previous week. The common purchase price ranges from 62,500 to 63,500 VND/kg.
  • Southern Region: The average price in the Southeast region reached 62,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 750 VND/kg compared to July 18th and 750 VND/kg lower than the previous week. The Southwest region reached 63,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to July 18th and 500 VND/kg lower than the previous week. The common transaction price in the Southern region is currently in the range of 62,500 – 63,500 VND/kg.
  • The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to GREENFEED standards) currently stands at VND 64,500/kg, approximately VND 1,000/kg higher than the national average price of live pigs, continuing to maintain its advantage in quality and farming efficiency.

2.POULTRY PRICE

Poultry market on July 20th: Ri chicken prices continued to rise in the North, Mia chicken prices increased in the Central region and remained stable in the North; Minh Du chicken prices recovered in the Central and Southwestern regions but decreased slightly in the Southeastern region; duck meat prices decreased sharply nationwide, especially in the Northern provinces.

  • Ri chicken prices in the North increased by 500 VND/kg compared to July 18th, currently trading in the range of 39,500 – 42,000 VND/kg.
  • Mia chicken prices in the North remained stable compared to July 18th, fluctuating between 41,500 – 46,500 VND/kg. In the Central region, Mia chicken prices increased by 500 VND/kg, reaching 36,500 – 37,500 VND/kg.
  • The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 41,000 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to July 18th. In Central Vietnam, prices increased by 500 VND/kg compared to July 18th, reaching 39,000 – 39,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg, trading in the range of 39,750 – 41,000 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices increased by 500 VND/kg, with traders currently purchasing at 40,500 – 43,500 VND/kg.
  • The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 38,000 VND/kg, a sharp decrease of 3,000 VND/kg compared to July 18th. In Northern Vietnam, prices decreased sharply by 3,500 VND/kg compared to July 18th, currently trading in the range of 33,500 – 35,250 VND/kg. Prices in Central Vietnam decreased by 2,250 VND/kg, commonly ranging from 36,500 to 42,000 VND/kg. Prices in the Southeast and Southwest regions decreased by 2,000 VND/kg, generally around 39,000-44,000 VND/kg in the Southeast and 42,500-44,000 VND/kg in the Mekong Delta provinces.
