On July 2nd, 2026 duck meat prices adjusted downwards after previous sharp increases

Poultry prices on July 2nd showed mixed trends. Prices for Ri and Mia chickens remained stable, while Minh Du chicken prices recovered slightly. Meanwhile, duck meat prices adjusted downwards after previous strong increases.

  • Ri chicken prices in Northern Vietnam remained unchanged from yesterday. Traders are currently buying at around 39,000 – 41,500 VND/kg.
  • Mia chicken prices remained stable on July 2nd. In Northern Vietnam, prices are commonly between 44,000 – 45,500 VND/kg; in Central Vietnam, prices continue to hover around 41,000 VND/kg.
  • The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 43,000 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Central and Southeastern Vietnam, prices remained stable, currently trading at around 40,250 – 42,500 VND/kg in Central Vietnam and 42,750 – 43,750 VND/kg in Southeastern Vietnam. Southwestern Vietnam saw an increase of 1,250 VND/kg, currently fluctuating between 44,000 – 45,000 VND/kg.
  • The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 44,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Northern Vietnam maintained stable prices at around 42,250 – 44,250 VND/kg. Meanwhile, Central Vietnam decreased by 750 VND/kg, commonly trading at 43,000 – 46,500 VND/kg. Southeastern Vietnam decreased by 1,500 VND/kg, currently fluctuating between 44,500 – 47,500 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices also decreased by 1,250 VND/kg, with common purchase prices ranging from 45,000 to 47,000 VND/kg.
