Pork prices on July 21st saw a slight increase in the Southwestern region. Nationwide prices fluctuated between 62,500 and 64,500 VND/kg, averaging 63,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 2,000 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.
- Northern region: Average pork price reached 64,000 VND/kg, stable compared to yesterday but 2,500 VND/kg lower than last week. Common transaction prices ranged from 63,000 to 64,500 VND/kg.
- Central and Central Highlands region: Average pork price reached 63,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 1,500 VND/kg lower than last week. Common purchase prices ranged from 62,500 to 63,500 VND/kg.
- Southern Region: The Southeast region recorded an average live pig price around 62,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 1,250 VND/kg lower than last week. The Southwest region saw a slight increase of 500 VND/kg to 63,000 VND/kg, but is still 500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. The common trading price in the Southern region is currently in the range of 62,500 – 63,500 VND/kg.
The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) currently reaches 64,500 VND/kg, about 1,050 VND/kg higher than the national average live pig price, continuing to maintain its advantage in quality and farming efficiency.
