Pork prices on July 27th continued their downward trend in most regions nationwide. The national average price ranged from 61,000 to 63,500 VND/kg, averaging 62,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to July 25th and 1,250 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.
- Northern Region: The average pork price reached 62,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to July 25th and 1,750 VND/kg lower than the previous week. Common transaction prices ranged from 61,500 to 63,000 VND/kg.
- Central and Central Highlands Region: The average price of live pigs reached VND 61,500/kg, a decrease of VND 250/kg compared to July 25th and VND 1,750/kg lower than the previous week. The common purchase price ranges from VND 61,000 to VND 62,000/kg.
- Southern Region: The average price in the Southeast region reached VND 62,000/kg, a decrease of VND 250/kg compared to July 25th and VND 1,000/kg lower than the previous week. The Southwest region reached VND 63,000/kg, a decrease of VND 250/kg compared to July 25th and similar to the same period last week. The common transaction price in the Southern region is currently in the range of VND 61,500 – VND 63,500/kg.
- The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to GREENFEED standards) currently stands at 63,500 VND/kg, approximately 1,200 VND/kg higher than the national average price of live pigs, continuing to maintain its advantage in quality and farming efficiency.
