Pork prices on July 9th saw a rebound in some provinces in the Southern region. Prices fluctuated between 62,500 and 66,000 VND/kg, averaging 64,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 1,000 VND/kg higher than the same period last week.
- Northern region: Average pork price reached 65,000 VND/kg, stable compared to yesterday and 1,250 VND/kg higher than last week. Common transaction prices ranged from 64,000 to 66,000 VND/kg.
- Central and Central Highlands region: Average pork price reached 63,000 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,500 VND/kg higher than last week. Common purchase prices range from 62,500 to 63,500 VND/kg.
- Southern Region: The Southeast region maintained a price of 62,500 VND/kg, stable compared to yesterday and 500 VND/kg higher than last week. The Southwest region increased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, reaching 63,000 VND/kg, and 1,000 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. Common transaction prices in the Southern region are currently in the range of 62,500 – 63,500 VND/kg.
- The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) is currently at 65,500 VND/kg, about 1,300 VND/kg higher than the national average pig price, continuing to maintain a positive difference thanks to the quality and uniformity of the pig herd.
