Pork prices on August 21st remained unchanged compared to yesterday, following a recent increase. Nationwide pork purchase prices ranged from 53,500 to 59,000 VND/kg, averaging 57,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 500 VND/kg higher than the same period last week.
- Northern Region: Average pork price reached 58,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 1,000 VND/kg higher than last week. Common transaction prices ranged from 58,000 to 59,000 VND/kg.
- Central and Central Highlands Region: Average pork price reached 58,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 1,000 VND/kg higher than last week. Common purchase prices ranged from 57,000 to 58,500 VND/kg.
- Southern Region: The average price in the Southeast region reached 56,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday but still 250 VND/kg lower than last week. The average price in the Southwest region reached 56,500 VND/kg, maintaining the price from yesterday but 750 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Current transaction prices in the Southern region range from 53,500 to 57,500 VND/kg.
- The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) is currently 59,000 VND/kg, about 1,400 VND/kg higher than the market price, continuing to maintain its advantage due to the high quality of the meat, which is highly valued by traders.
