1.PIG PRICE

Pork prices on June 24th continued their downward trend nationwide. The average price of live pigs currently fluctuates between 62,500 and 66,500 VND/kg, averaging 64,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.

  • Northern region: The average price of live pigs reached 66,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 2,500 VND/kg lower than last week. Prices in most localities are trading between 64,000 and 66,500 VND/kg.
  • Central and Central Highlands region: The average price of live pigs reached 63,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,000 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. The prevailing purchase price currently ranges from 62,500 to 63,500 VND/kg.
  • Southern region: Live pig prices are fluctuating across regions. The Southeast region decreased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, down to 62,500 VND/kg; no difference has been recorded compared to last week. Meanwhile, the Southwest region remains stable at 63,500 VND/kg and is 250 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. The prevailing transaction price in the Southern region is currently in the range of 62,500 – 63,500 VND/kg.
  • The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) is currently at 65,500 VND/kg, about 1,000 VND/kg higher than the national average live pig price, continuing to maintain a positive difference thanks to the quality and uniformity of the pig herd.

2.POULTRY PRICE

Poultry prices on June 24th showed mixed trends across different product lines. Ri chicken prices recovered slightly, Mia chicken prices fluctuated in opposite directions across regions, Minh Du chicken prices decreased slightly, while duck meat prices continued to rise sharply across the board.

  • Ri chicken prices in the North reached 44,000 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday. The common purchase price currently ranges from 43,000 to 45,000 VND/kg.
  • Mia chicken prices showed mixed trends across regions. In the North, prices increased slightly by 250 VND/kg, reaching 47,000 VND/kg, with common prices ranging from 46,500 to 48,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, in the Central region, prices decreased by 750 VND/kg, down to 43,500 VND/kg, with transactions around 43,500 VND/kg.
  • The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 45,000 VND/kg, a slight decrease of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Central Vietnam, prices decreased by 250 VND/kg, currently ranging from 43,000 to 44,000 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg, trading around 45,750 – 46,250 VND/kg, while in the Southwest region, prices remained stable at 46,000 VND/kg, commonly ranging from 45,250 to 46,250 VND/kg.
  • The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 42,500 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Northern Vietnam, prices remained stable at 42,000 VND/kg, currently fluctuating between 41,000 and 42,500 VND/kg. Prices in Central Vietnam increased sharply by 2,000 VND/kg, reaching 44,000 VND/kg, with common prices ranging from 42,500 to 45,500 VND/kg. Prices in the Southeast region increased by 1,250 VND/kg, trading at 43,500 to 44,000 VND/kg; the Southwest region also saw an increase of 1,000 VND/kg, currently commonly ranging from 41,000 to 42,000 VND/kg.
