Pork prices on July 15th saw a slight decrease in the Northern provinces. Nationwide pork prices currently range from 63,500 to 67,000 VND/kg, averaging 65,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 1,250 VND/kg higher than the same period last week.

  • Northern region: Average pork price reached 66,500 VND/kg, a slight decrease of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, but still 1,250 VND/kg higher than last week. Common transaction prices range from 65,500 to 67,000 VND/kg.
  • Central and Central Highlands region: Average pork price reached 64,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 1,500 VND/kg higher than last week. Common purchase prices range from 64,000 to 65,000 VND/kg.
  • Southern region: The Southeast and Southwest regions both maintained an average price of 64,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. Compared to the same period last week, the Southeast region is 1,500 VND/kg higher, and the Southwest region is 1,000 VND/kg higher. Common transaction prices in the Southern region are currently in the range of 63,500 – 64,500 VND/kg.
  • The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) currently reaches 66,000 VND/kg, about 850 VND/kg higher than the national average pig price, continuing to maintain its advantage in quality and farming efficiency.
