The program opened with laughter from quiz activities, warm cultural performances, and the children’s excitement as they received their gifts. Each child received a practical gift set, including wholesome food packages from G Kitchen, ergonomic backpacks, and insulated bottles. In addition, 30 scholarship packages were awarded to students who have made great efforts in their studies, giving them more encouragement and confidence as they prepare for the new school year.
After the heartwarming gift giving moments, the schoolyard of Binh Thuy became even more lively with game booths, where the children could play, stay active, and learn more about nutrition in a fun and friendly way. Amid the joyful atmosphere, the food booth served thoughtfully prepared wholesome dishes directly to the children, helping make the festival day in Binh My even warmer and more complete.
Le Thi Huynh Giao, a student from Class 9A3 at Binh Thuy Secondary School, shared: “I am very happy today because I received gifts, played games, and enjoyed delicious food with my friends. I would like to thank everyone for coming here and giving us such a joyful day.”
To ensure the festival day was thoughtfully prepared, 69 volunteers, including GREENFEED employees and their families, arrived at the school one day earlier to work together on the preparations, making sure that every gift, every booth, and every activity was ready to welcome the children.
GREENFEED would also like to express its sincere thanks to Binh My Commune People’s Committee, Binh My Commune Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in An Giang Province, and OCEVIA Co., Ltd. for their coordination and support in helping the Meals of Smiles Program in Binh My run smoothly. Their support helped bring the children a warm, thoughtful, and joyful festival day.
As a laughter filled day in Binh My comes to a close, the Meals of Smiles Program will continue moving forward to new stops, bringing more wholesome meals and joy to children across Vietnam.
