Pork prices on July 8th remained generally stable compared to yesterday. The nationwide price range fluctuated between 62,500 and 66,000 VND/kg, averaging 64,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 1,000 VND/kg higher than the same period last week.
- Northern region: The average pork price reached 65,000 VND/kg, stable compared to yesterday and 1,250 VND/kg higher than last week. Localities are trading within the range of 64,000 – 66,000 VND/kg.
- Central and Central Highlands region: The average pork price reached 63,000 VND/kg, stable compared to yesterday and 1,000 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. The prevailing purchase price currently ranges from 62,500 to 63,500 VND/kg.
- Southern Region: Live pig prices remain stable in both regions. The Southeast region maintains a price of 62,500 VND/kg, 500 VND/kg higher than last week. The Southwest region maintains a price of 63,000 VND/kg, also 500 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. The prevailing transaction price in the Southern region is currently in the range of 62,500 – 63,000 VND/kg.
- Live pig prices for GF24 generation (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) currently reach 65,500 VND/kg, approximately 1,300 VND/kg higher than the national average live pig price, continuing to maintain a positive difference thanks to the quality and uniformity of the pig herd.
