Updated prices as of April 17, 2026 for livestock products

1.PIG PRICE

Today, April 17th, live pig prices saw a slight decrease in some provinces in the Southeast region, while the general price level in other regions remained unchanged. Live pigs are currently being bought and sold at around 62,500 – 68,500 VND/kg, an increase of nearly 1,000 VND/kg compared to last week, with the South still having the highest prices nationwide.

Northern region: Live pig prices today remained unchanged compared to yesterday, with the average price across the region fluctuating between 62,500 – 64,000 VND/kg, still 500 VND/kg higher than the price recorded at the same time last week.

Central and Central Highlands regions: No significant changes in live pig prices were recorded today, with current purchase prices remaining at 64,500 – 66,500 VND/kg, 1,500 VND/kg higher than last week.

Southern region: Live pig prices on April 17th saw a slight decrease of 500 VND/kg in some provinces in the Southeast region, bringing the purchase price in the Southern region down slightly to around 68,000 – 68,500 VND/kg, nearly 1,500 VND/kg higher than the same time last week.

Live pigs of the GF24 generation, raised according to Greenfeed’s standard process, with meat quality receiving many positive reviews from traders, are currently selling at a price 500 – 1,000 VND/kg higher than the average price of other companies.

2.POULTRY PRICE

Northern Ri chicken prices remained stable on April 17th, with traders buying Ri chickens at around 50,500 – 52,000 VND/kg.

Northern Mia chicken prices also remained unchanged today. Accordingly, the average price of Mia chicken in the North is fluctuating between 50,500 – 52,000 VND/kg.

Minh Du chicken prices saw a slight increase in Southern provinces. Specifically, the Southeastern provinces recorded an increase of 500 – 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently reaching 38,000 – 39,500 VND/kg. The Southwestern provinces also saw an increase of 500 VND/kg, bringing the purchase price to nearly 41,500 – 42,000 VND/kg. Prices in the Central region remained stable on April 17th, currently at 42,500 – 43,000 VND/kg.

Duck meat prices on April 17th showed mixed trends in the North and South. Prices in the North continued to decrease slightly by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently at 26,000 – 26,500 VND/kg. Prices in the Central region remained unchanged today, currently at 31,000 – 32,500 VND/kg. Prices in the South increased by 500 – 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently reaching 33,000 – 38,000 VND/kg in the Southeast and 37,000 – 38,000 VND/kg in the Southwest.
