Poultry market on August 5th: Ri chicken prices decreased slightly in the North, while Mia chicken prices increased. Minh Du chicken prices decreased across all regions nationwide, and duck meat prices also decreased in most areas.
- Ri chicken prices in the North decreased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently trading in the range of 44,000 – 45,500 VND/kg.
- Mia chicken prices in the North increased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, reaching 42,500 – 46,500 VND/kg. In the Central region, Mia chicken prices increased sharply by 2,000 VND/kg, commonly trading at 37,500 – 38,000 VND/kg.
The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 37,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Prices in Central Vietnam decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently fluctuating between 36,000 and 37,000 VND/kg. - The Southeast region also saw a decrease of 500 VND/kg, trading in the range of 36,500 to 37,000 VND/kg. The Southwest region decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently commonly around 36,000 to 39,000 VND/kg.
- The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 38,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. The North decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently trading in the range of 34,000 to 36,000 VND/kg. The Central region decreased by 750 VND/kg, commonly trading in the range of 35,000 to 43,000 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices decreased by 250 VND/kg, currently trading in the range of 41,500 – 45,500 VND/kg, while in the Southwest region, prices remained stable compared to yesterday, generally at 45,500 – 46,500 VND/kg.
