1.PIG PRICE

Pork prices remained stable nationwide on August 26th. Nationwide pork purchase prices ranged from 56,000 to 59,000 VND/kg, averaging 58,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 750 VND/kg higher than the same period last week.

• Northern Region: Average pork price reached 58,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 500 VND/kg higher than last week. Common transaction prices ranged from 58,000 to 59,000 VND/kg.
• Central and Central Highlands Region: Average pork price reached 58,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 500 VND/kg higher than last week. Common purchase prices ranged from 57,000 to 58,500 VND/kg.
• Southern Region: The average price in the Southeast region reached 56,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 750 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. The average price in the Southwest region reached 58,000 VND/kg, maintaining the same price as yesterday and 1,500 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. Current transaction prices in the Southern region range from 56,000 to 59,000 VND/kg.
• The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) is currently 59,000 VND/kg, approximately 1,050 VND/kg higher than the market price, continuing to maintain its advantage due to the high quality of the meat, which is highly valued by traders.

2.POULTRY PRICE

On August 26th, the poultry market in the Northern provinces saw continued price increases for Ri chickens, while Mia chickens remained stable compared to the previous day. Minh Du chicken prices showed no change today. On the other hand, duck meat prices increased sharply in the North, but reversed and decreased in the Central and Southern provinces.

• Ri chicken prices in the North increased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently trading between 44,500 and 48,000 VND/kg.
• Mia chicken prices in the North remained unchanged compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating between 45,000 and 48,500 VND/kg. In the Central region, Mia chicken prices remained stable at 37,500 VND/kg.
• The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 36,500 VND/kg, remaining stable compared to yesterday. Prices in the Central region remained between 35,500 and 36,500 VND/kg. Prices in the Southeast region remained unchanged compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating between 35,500 and 37,500 VND/kg. Prices in the Southwest region remained stable, commonly ranging from 36,000 to 37,000 VND/kg.
• The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 45,000 VND/kg, an increase of 1,500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Prices in the North increased sharply by 3,500 VND/kg, currently reaching 42,000 – 45,500 VND/kg. Prices in the Central region decreased slightly by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently at 45,500 – 48,500 VND/kg. Prices in the Southeast region decreased by 1,500 VND/kg, currently trading in the range of 46,000 – 47,500 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices decreased slightly by 250 VND/kg, with traders currently buying at around 45,500 – 46,500 VND/kg.
