1.PIG PRICE
Today, May 26th, live pig prices saw a slight increase in some provinces in the Northern region, while prices remained relatively stable compared to yesterday. Live pigs are currently being bought and sold at around 67,000 – 69,000 VND/kg, a price similar to that recorded during the same period last week.
- Northern region: Live pig prices on May 26th increased by 500 VND/kg in some provinces and cities. Prices across the region are currently fluctuating between 68,500 – 69,000 VND/kg, still nearly 1,300 VND/kg higher than the same period last week.
- Central and Central Highlands regions: No price fluctuations were recorded on May 26th. Currently, traders are purchasing live pigs at around 67,000 – 67,500 VND/kg, nearly 900 VND/kg lower than the price recorded during the same period last week.
- Southern regions: Live pig prices on May 26th remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Traders are currently purchasing pigs at around 67,000 – 68,000 VND/kg, nearly 1,000 VND/kg lower than the price recorded during the same period last week.
- Live pigs of the GF24 generation, raised according to Greenfeed’s standard process, with meat quality receiving many positive reviews from traders, are currently selling at a price 500 – 1,000 VND/kg higher than the average price of other companies.

2.POULTRY PRICE
On May 26th, colored chicken prices continued their downward trend in the North but increased in the South. Duck meat prices today showed mixed trends, rising sharply in the North but slightly decreasing in the South.
- Northern Ri chicken prices today, May 26th, decreased slightly by 500 VND/kg compared to May 25th, with traders currently buying Ri chicken at around 51,000 – 54,000 VND/kg.
- Northern Mia chicken prices also decreased. Accordingly, the average price of Mia chicken in the North is currently in the range of 49,500 – 50,000 VND/kg.
- Minh Du chicken prices on May 26th remained stable in the Central provinces, currently fluctuating between 44,500 – 46,500 VND/kg. The Southeast region also recorded no price fluctuations on May 26th, currently trading at 43,000 – 44,000 VND/kg. The Southwestern provinces continued to see an increase of 500 VND/kg on May 26th, with traders buying at around 44,000 – 45,000 VND/kg.
- Duck meat prices on May 26th showed mixed trends. The North saw a sharp increase of 2,000 – 3,000 VND/kg today, currently fluctuating between 32,000 – 33,000 VND/kg. The Central region saw an increase of 500 – 1,000 VND/kg in the North Central provinces but a slight decrease of 500 VND/kg in the South Central provinces, with current purchase prices ranging from 30,000 – 33,500 VND/kg. In the Southern region, prices decreased by 500-1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently hovering around 31,000-32,000 VND/kg.
