1.PIG PRICE

Pork prices on June 15th showed mixed trends across regions. The nationwide average pork price currently ranges from 62,500 to 68,500 VND/kg, averaging 66,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Compared to the same period last week, the average price nationwide remains generally stable.

• Northern region: Pork prices remained stable compared to yesterday, averaging 68,000 VND/kg, 500 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. Currently, prices in most localities are trading between 66,500 and 68,500 VND/kg.
• Central and Central Highlands region: The average pork price reached 64,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday but 500 VND/kg lower than last week. The prevailing purchase price currently ranges from 63,500 to 65,000 VND/kg.
• Southern region: Live pig prices continue to fall in both regions. The Southeast region decreased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, averaging 62,500 VND/kg. The Southwest region also decreased by 500 VND/kg, down to 63,500 VND/kg, and 500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. The prevailing transaction price in the Southern region is currently in the range of 62,500 – 63,500 VND/kg.
• The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) currently reaches 67,000 VND/kg, about 1,050 VND/kg higher than the national average live pig price, continuing to maintain a high difference due to the quality and uniformity of the pig herd.

2.POULTRY PRICE

Poultry prices on June 15th generally showed a downward trend. Prices for Ri chicken, Mia chicken, Minh Du chicken, and meat duck all decreased compared to yesterday, with Ri chicken and meat duck experiencing the sharpest declines.

• Ri chicken price: The national average reached 41,000 VND/kg, down 1,500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Currently, purchase prices in the North range from 40,500 to 42,000 VND/kg.
• Mia chicken price: The national average reached 47,000 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Prices in the North commonly range from 46,500 to 47,500 VND/kg, while the Central region maintained around 46,500 VND/kg.
• Minh Du Chicken Prices: The national average price reached 46,500 VND/kg, a slight decrease of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Central Vietnam, the common price ranges from 43,000 to 44,500 VND/kg; in the Southeast region, it is around 47,000 VND/kg; and in the Southwest region, it fluctuates between 47,500 and 48,750 VND/kg.
• Duck Meat Prices: The national average price reached 41,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Prices in Northern Vietnam decreased sharply by 1,250 VND/kg, currently fluctuating between 45,500 and 47,000 VND/kg. Prices in Central Vietnam increased by 1,250 VND/kg, reaching approximately 35,000 to 42,000 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices increased by 500 VND/kg, with common transactions ranging from 34,000 to 35,000 VND/kg, while in the Southwest region, prices remained around 34,000 to 35,000 VND/kg.
