Pork prices on July 13th continued their upward trend across all regions nationwide. The average price nationwide fluctuated between 63,000 and 67,000 VND/kg, reaching an average of 65,000 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,500 VND/kg higher than the same period last week.
- Northern Region: The average pork price reached 66,500 VND/kg, an increase of 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 2,000 VND/kg higher than last week. Common transaction prices ranged from 65,500 to 67,000 VND/kg.
- Central and Central Highlands Region: The average pork price reached 64,500 VND/kg, an increase of 750 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,500 VND/kg higher than last week. Common purchase prices range from 64,000 – 64,500 VND/kg.
- Southern Region: Live pig prices continue to improve slightly. The Southeast region averaged 63,500 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,500 VND/kg higher than last week. The Southwest region also averaged 63,500 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,000 VND/kg higher than last week. Common transaction prices in the Southern region are currently in the range of 63,000 – 64,000 VND/kg.
- The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) is currently 66,000 VND/kg, about 800 VND/kg higher than the national average live pig price, continuing to maintain its advantage in quality and farming efficiency thanks to the uniformity of the pig herd.
