Updated prices as of April 22, 2026 for livestock products

1.PIG PRICE

Today, April 22nd, live pig prices saw a slight increase in some provinces of the Southwestern region but a slight decrease in the Southeastern region. Live pigs are currently being bought and sold at around 62,500 – 69,000 VND/kg, equivalent to the prices recorded last week, with the South continuing to maintain the highest prices nationwide.

Northern region: Live pig prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday, with the average price across the region fluctuating between 62,500 – 64,000 VND/kg, the same as at the same time last week.

Central and Central Highlands regions: No price changes were recorded on April 22nd. The average purchase price for live pigs is currently around 65,000 – 66,500 VND/kg, nearly 500 VND/kg higher than last week.

Southern Region: On April 22nd, live pig prices decreased slightly by 500 VND/kg in the Eastern region but increased by 500 VND/kg in the Western region. Traders are currently buying pigs at around 68,000 – 69,000 VND/kg, which is still nearly 500 VND/kg higher than last week.

Live pigs of the GF24 generation, raised according to Greenfeed’s standard process, with meat quality receiving many positive reviews from traders, are currently selling at a price 500 – 1,000 VND/kg higher than the average price of other companies.

2.POULTRY PRICE

Northern Ri chicken prices remained stable on April 22nd, with traders buying Ri chicken at around 50,500 – 52,000 VND/kg.

Northern Mia chicken prices increased by 1,000 VND/kg in most northern provinces. Accordingly, the average price of Mia chicken in the North is fluctuating between 51,500 – 53,000 VND/kg.

Minh Du chicken prices showed positive developments on April 22nd. Central Vietnam maintained stable prices today, with the average across the region reaching 41,000 – 42,000 VND/kg. The Southeast region continued its upward trend, with increases of 500 – 1,000 VND/kg reaching 40,000 – 41,000 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices also increased by 1,000 VND/kg, currently reaching 43,000 – 44,000 VND/kg.

Duck meat prices on April 22nd saw a slight decrease in the Central region. Prices in the Northern region remained stable compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 24,500 – 25,000 VND/kg. Prices in the North Central region decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, with traders in the Central region currently buying at 30,000 – 31,500 VND/kg. Prices in the Southern region remained unchanged on April 22nd, with the Southeast region trading at around 32,500 – 33,500 VND/kg, and the Southwest region fluctuating at 34,000 – 35,000 VND/kg.
