On July 13, 2026 poultry prices showed mixed developments

The poultry market on July 13th saw mixed trends. In the North, the price of Ri chickens increased slightly, while the price of Mia chickens decreased. Minh Du chicken prices fell in most areas; meanwhile, duck meat prices dropped sharply in the North and Central regions, remaining stable in the South.

  • Ri chicken prices in the North increased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently trading between 37,000 and 39,500 VND/kg.
  • Mia chicken prices in the North decreased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating between 40,500 and 44,500 VND/kg. In the Central region, prices dropped sharply by 1,000 VND/kg, to 36,000 and 36,500 VND/kg.
  • On July 13th, the average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 42,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Central Vietnam, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating between 39,000 and 40,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg, trading between 41,750 and 43,000 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently fluctuating between 42,500 and 44,000 VND/kg.
  • The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 43,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In the North, prices decreased by 1,250 VND/kg, currently ranging from 39,750 to 41,750 VND/kg. Prices in Central Vietnam decreased by 1,750 VND/kg compared to yesterday, generally ranging from 41,500 to 46,500 VND/kg. Prices in the Southeast and Southwest regions remained unchanged today, maintaining trading levels of approximately 45,000-47,500 VND/kg and 46,500-47,500 VND/kg respectively.
