On May 13, 2026, pork prices remained unchanged, while poultry prices showed no price fluctuations

1.PIG PRICE

Today, May 13th, live pig prices continue to remain stable nationwide. Live pigs are currently being bought and sold at around 67,500 – 69,000 VND/kg, nearly 1,700 VND/kg higher than last week’s prices. The price difference between the North and South has narrowed significantly, now only 1,000 – 2,000 VND/kg.

• Northern region: Live pig prices remained stable today, fluctuating between 67,500 – 68,000 VND/kg, nearly 3,000 VND/kg higher than the same period last week.
• Central and Central Highlands regions: No price fluctuations were recorded today, May 13th. Traders in the region are currently purchasing live pigs at around 68,000 – 68,500 VND/kg, nearly 1,000 VND/kg higher than last week.
• Southern regions: Prices remained stable today, May 12th. Traders are currently purchasing pigs at around 68,500 – 69,000 VND/kg, similar to the prices recorded during the same period last week.
• Live pigs of the GF24 generation, raised according to Greenfeed’s standard process, with meat quality receiving many positive reviews from traders, are currently selling at a price 500 – 1,000 VND/kg higher than the average price of other companies.

2.POULTRY PRICE

Prices for Ri Lai and Mia Lai chickens in the North remained unchanged on May 13th. Minh Du chicken prices increased by 500-2,000 VND/kg in the South. Meanwhile, the downward trend in duck meat prices has slowed, and positive signs are appearing in the Southeast region. Other regions recorded no price changes on May 13th.

• Ri Lai chicken prices in the North remained unchanged on May 12th compared to yesterday, with traders currently buying Ri Lai chickens at around 48,500-50,000 VND/kg.
• Mia Lai chicken prices in the North also remained unchanged today, with the average price of Mia Lai chicken in the North currently ranging from 49,500-50,500 VND/kg.
• Minh Du chicken prices increased in the South. Accordingly, the Central provinces recorded no price fluctuations on May 12th, with the average price across the region currently at 43,500 – 45,500 VND/kg. On the other hand, the Southern provinces recorded an increase of 500 – 2,000 VND/kg on May 13th, currently trading in the range of 44,000 – 46,000 VND/kg in the Southeast region and around 43,500 – 44,500 VND/kg in the Southwest provinces.
• Duck meat prices on May 12th recorded a slight increase in some Southeast provinces. Specifically, the Northern region maintained its price today, currently around 27,000 – 28,000 VND/kg. Prices in the Central region remained unchanged on May 13th, currently ranging from 30,000 to 32,000 VND/kg. Prices in the Southeast region increased slightly by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently hovering around 33,000 to 34,000 VND/kg, while prices in the Southwest region remained stable at 33,000 to 33,500 VND/kg.
