1.PIG PRICE
Today, April 24th, live pig prices saw a slight increase in some provinces in Northern and Southeastern Vietnam. Live pigs are currently being bought and sold at around 63,000 – 69,000 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg compared to last week’s prices. Southern Vietnam continues to maintain the highest prices nationwide.
Northern Vietnam: Live pig prices increased slightly by 500 VND/kg in some provinces and cities. The average price across the region currently fluctuates between 63,000 – 64,500 VND/kg, an increase of 300 VND/kg compared to yesterday and nearly 500 VND/kg compared to the same period last week.
Central and Central Highlands regions: Today’s pig prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday, with the current purchase price for live pigs hovering around 65,000 – 67,000 VND/kg, nearly 500 VND/kg higher than last week.
Southern region: On April 24th, live pig prices increased by 500 VND/kg in Ho Chi Minh City. Traders are currently purchasing pigs at around 68,000 – 69,000 VND/kg, still nearly 500 VND/kg higher than last week.
Live pigs of the GF24 generation, raised according to Greenfeed’s standard process, with meat quality receiving many positive reviews from traders, are currently selling at a price 500 – 1,000 VND/kg higher than the average price of other companies.

2.POULTRY PRICE
Northern Ri chicken prices decreased by 1,000 – 1,500 VND/kg in most provinces and cities, with traders currently buying Ri chicken at around 49,500 – 50,500 VND/kg.
Northern Mia chicken prices remained unchanged on April 24th. The average price of Mia chicken in the North is fluctuating between 52,500 – 54,000 VND/kg.
Minh Du chicken prices showed positive developments on April 24th. Central Vietnam maintained stable prices today, averaging 41,000 – 42,000 VND/kg. The Southeast region continued its upward trend, with an increase of approximately 500 VND/kg, reaching 41,000 – 42,500 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices remained stable today, currently at 44,000 – 45,000 VND/kg.
Duck meat prices on April 24th reversed course and increased sharply. Specifically, the North recorded an increase of 2,000 – 2,500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently reaching 26,500 – 27,000 VND/kg. The Central region also saw an increase of 500 – 2,000 VND/kg, currently being purchased at around 31,000 – 33,000 VND/kg. The South increased by 500 – 1,000 VND/kg, pushing duck meat prices in the Southeast region to 34,000 – 36,500 VND/kg, and in the Southwest region to 36,000 – 37,000 VND/kg.
