1.PIG PRICE

Today, April 21st, live pig prices saw a slight increase in some provinces in the North Central region. Live pigs are currently being bought and sold at around 62,500 – 68,500 VND/kg, an increase of over 500 VND/kg compared to last week. The South remains the region with the highest prices nationwide.

Northern region: Live pig prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday, with the average price across the region fluctuating between 62,500 – 64,000 VND/kg, still nearly 500 VND/kg higher than the price recorded at the same time last week.

Central and Central Highlands regions: Prices increased by 500 VND/kg in Quang Tri – Hue, with the current purchase price of live pigs hovering around 65,000 – 66,500 VND/kg, nearly 1,000 VND/kg higher than last week.

Southern region: Live pig prices on April 21st remained unchanged compared to the previous day. Currently, traders are purchasing live pigs at around 68,000 – 68,500 VND/kg, 500 VND/kg higher than the same time last week.

Live pigs of the GF24 generation, raised according to GreenFeed’s standard process, with meat quality receiving many positive reviews from traders, are currently selling at a price 500 – 1,000 VND/kg higher than the average price of other companies.

2.POULTRY PRICE

Northern Ri chicken prices remained stable on April 21st, with traders buying Ri chicken at around 50,500 – 52,000 VND/kg.

Northern Mia chicken prices also remained unchanged on April 21st. Accordingly, the average price of Mia chicken in the North is fluctuating between 50,500 – 52,000 VND/kg.

Minh Du chicken prices showed mixed trends on April 21st. Central Vietnam saw a decrease of 1,000 VND/kg, bringing the average price across the region to 41,000 – 42,000 VND/kg. The Southeast region continued its upward trend, with increases of 500 – 1,000 VND/kg reaching 39,500 – 40,500 VND/kg. Duck meat prices in the Southwest region remained stable on April 21st, fluctuating between 40,000 and 42,000 VND/kg.

On April 21st, duck meat prices saw a slight decrease in the Southeast region. Prices in the Northern region remained unchanged compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 24,500 and 25,000 VND/kg. Prices in the Central region were unchanged at 31,000-32,000 VND/kg compared to April 21st. Prices in the Southeast region decreased slightly by 500 VND/kg, with traders buying at around 32,500-33,500 VND/kg. Prices in the Southwest region remained unchanged compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 34,000 and 35,000 VND/kg.
