1.PIG PRICE

Pork prices on June 25th generally remained stable nationwide. The average price of live pigs fluctuated between 62,500 and 66,500 VND/kg, reaching an average of 64,500 VND/kg, similar to yesterday but still 1,500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.

  • Northern region: The average price of live pigs reached 66,000 VND/kg, remaining stable compared to yesterday but still 2,500 VND/kg lower than last week. Prices in most localities are trading between 64,000 and 66,500 VND/kg.
  • Central and Central Highlands region: The average price of live pigs reached 63,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday but 1,000 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. The prevailing purchase price currently ranges from 62,500 to 63,500 VND/kg.
  • Southern region: Live pig prices are generally stable. The Southeast region maintains an average of 62,500 VND/kg, and the Southwest region remains at 63,500 VND/kg, 250 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. The common transaction price in the Southern region is currently in the range of 62,500 – 63,500 VND/kg.
  • The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) currently reaches 65,500 VND/kg, about 1,000 VND/kg higher than the national average live pig price, continuing to maintain a positive difference thanks to the quality and uniformity of the pig herd.

2.POULTRY PRICE

Poultry prices on June 25th continued to show mixed trends. Prices for Ri chicken, Mia chicken, and Minh Du chicken all decreased, while duck meat prices increased sharply in most regions.

  • Ri chicken prices in the North reached 43,500 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. The current common purchase price ranges from 42,500 to 44,500 VND/kg.
  • Mia chicken prices continued to adjust downwards in both the North and Central regions. In the North, prices decreased by 750 VND/kg, to 46,500 VND/kg, with common prices ranging from 45,500 to 47,000 VND/kg. In the Central region, prices decreased by 1,000 VND/kg and are currently trading at 42,500 VND/kg.
  • The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 44,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Central Vietnam, prices remained stable at 43,500 VND/kg, commonly ranging from 42,750 to 44,000 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices decreased by 750 VND/kg to 45,000 VND/kg, with a trading range of 45,250 to 45,750 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg to 45,500 VND/kg, commonly ranging from 44,750 to 45,750 VND/kg.
  • The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 44,000 VND/kg, a sharp increase of 1,500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In the North, prices increased by 1,000 VND/kg, reaching 43,000 VND/kg, currently fluctuating between 42,000 and 43,500 VND/kg. In the Central region, prices saw a slight increase of 250 VND/kg, reaching 44,500 VND/kg, with common prices ranging from 43,500 to 45,500 VND/kg. The Southeast region experienced a sharp increase of 2,000 VND/kg, reaching 46,000 VND/kg, with trading prices ranging from 45,500 to 46,000 VND/kg. The Southwest region recorded the strongest increase, rising by 3,750 VND/kg to 45,000 VND/kg, with common prices ranging from 44,000 to 46,000 VND/kg.
