1.PIG PRICE
Today, May 25th, live pig prices decreased slightly by 500-1,000 VND/kg in the Northern and Southeastern regions. Live pigs are currently being bought and sold at around 67,000-69,000 VND/kg, a price similar to that recorded during the same period last week.
- Northern region: Live pig prices on May 25th decreased by 500 VND/kg in most provinces and cities. Prices across the region are currently fluctuating between 68,000-69,000 VND/kg, still nearly 1,000 VND/kg higher than the same period last week.
- Central and Central Highlands regions: A downward trend was also observed, with a decrease of approximately 500 VND/kg in the North Central provinces. Currently, traders are purchasing live pigs at around 67,000 – 67,500 VND/kg, nearly 900 VND/kg lower than the price recorded in the same period last week.
- Southern region: Live pig prices on May 25th also showed a downward trend in the Southeastern provinces. Traders are currently purchasing pigs at around 68,000 – 68,000 VND/kg, nearly 1,000 VND/kg lower than the price recorded in the same period last week.
- Pigs of the GF24 generation, raised according to Greenfeed’s standard process, with meat quality receiving many positive reviews from traders, are currently selling for 500-1,000 VND/kg higher than the average price offered by other companies.

2.POULTRY PRICE
On May 25th, colored chicken prices saw a slight decrease in the Northern region but an increase in the Southern provinces. Meanwhile, duck meat prices continued to show positive trends in the Southern provinces, while experiencing a slight decrease in some Central provinces.
- Northern Ri chicken prices today, May 25th, decreased slightly by 500 VND/kg compared to May 22nd, with traders currently buying Ri chicken at around 51,000 – 54,000 VND/kg.
- Northern Mia chicken prices also decreased. Accordingly, the average price of Mia chicken in the North is currently in the range of 49,500 – 51,000 VND/kg.
- Minh Du chicken prices remained stable in the Central provinces, fluctuating between 44,500 – 46,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices increased slightly by 500 VND/kg on May 25th, currently trading at 43,000 – 44,000 VND/kg. The Southwest provinces continued to record an increase of 500 VND/kg on May 25th, with traders currently buying at around 44,000 – 44,500 VND/kg.
- Duck meat prices on May 22nd showed mixed trends. Northern Vietnam maintained stable prices, fluctuating between 29,500 – 30,000 VND/kg. Central Vietnam saw a slight decrease of 500 VND/kg in some provinces, with traders buying at around 30,500 – 33,000 VND/kg. Southern Vietnam recorded an increase of 500-2,000 VND/kg, currently reaching 31,000-32,500 VND/kg in the Southeast region and 32,000-33,500 VND/kg in the Southwest region.
