Pork prices on July 23rd continued their downward trend in most regions nationwide. The national average price ranged from 61,500 to 64,500 VND/kg, averaging 63,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 2,000 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.
- Northern Region: The average pork price reached 63,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 2,500 VND/kg lower than last week. Common transaction prices ranged from 62,500 to 64,500 VND/kg.
- Central and Central Highlands Region: The average pork price reached 62,000 VND/kg, remaining stable compared to yesterday but still 2,250 VND/kg lower than last week. Common purchase prices range from 61,500 to 63,000 VND/kg.
- Southern Region: The average price in the Southeast region reached 62,000 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,500 VND/kg lower than last week. The average price in the Southwest region reached 62,500 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 500 VND/kg lower than last week. The common transaction price in the Southern region is currently in the range of 62,000 – 63,000 VND/kg.
- The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) is currently 64,000 VND/kg, about 1,300 VND/kg higher than the national average price of live pigs, continuing to maintain its advantage in quality and farming efficiency.
