Prices for Ri Lai and Mia Lai chickens increased again in the North on May 15th, while Minh Du chicken prices slightly decreased in the South. In addition, duck meat prices also saw a slight decrease in the North and North Central provinces. Other regions recorded no price fluctuations on May 15th.
- Ri Lai chicken prices in the North today, May 15th, increased by 500-1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, with traders currently buying Ri Lai chickens at around 49,500-51,000 VND/kg.
- Mia Lai chicken prices in the North also increased by 500 VND/kg in the provinces north of the Red River. Accordingly, the average price of Mia Lai chicken in the North is currently around 51,000-52,000 VND/kg.
- Minh Du chicken prices decreased in the South. Accordingly, Minh Du chicken prices in the Central provinces remained stable on May 15th, with the average price across the region currently at 43,500 – 45,500 VND/kg. In the Southern provinces, Minh Du chicken prices recorded a slight decrease of 500 VND/kg, down to 43,000 – 45,000 VND/kg in the Southeast region and approximately 43,500 – 44,000 VND/kg in the Southwestern provinces.
- Duck meat prices on May 15th recorded a decrease in the Northern provinces. Specifically, duck prices in the North today decreased by 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently at 26,000 – 27,000 VND/kg. In the Central region, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg in some provinces of the North Central region, currently being purchased at around 30,500 – 32,500 VND/kg. Prices in the Southern provinces remained stable compared to yesterday, fluctuating around 32,500 – 34,000 VND/kg in the Southeast region and 31,000 – 32,000 VND/kg in the Southwest region.
