1.PIG PRICE

Pork prices on September 15th remained generally stable nationwide, with a slight increase in some provinces in Central and Southeastern Vietnam. Nationwide pork purchase prices currently range from 57,000 to 60,500 VND/kg, averaging 59,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 750 VND/kg higher than the same period last week.

• Northern Vietnam: Average pork price reached 59,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 1,250 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. Transaction prices fluctuated between 59,500 and 60,000 VND/kg.
• Central and Central Highlands Vietnam: Average pork price reached 59,500 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,000 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. Purchase prices fluctuate between 58,000 and 60,500 VND/kg.
• Southern region: The average price in the Southeast region reached 57,500 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 250 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. The average price in the Southwest region reached 58,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and the same period last week. Transaction prices in the Southern region currently fluctuate between 57,000 and 58,500 VND/kg.
• The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) currently reaches 60,000 VND/kg, approximately 1,150 VND/kg higher than the market price of live pigs, continuing to maintain its advantage due to the high quality of the meat valued by traders.

2.POULTRY PRICE

On September 15th, the poultry market saw stable prices for Ri chickens in the North, while Mia chickens saw a slight increase. Prices for Minh Du chickens and duck meat remained unchanged today.

• Ri chicken prices in the North remained unchanged from yesterday, currently trading between 43,000 and 46,000 VND/kg.
• Mia chicken prices in the North increased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating between 46,000 and 48,000 VND/kg. In the Central region, Mia chicken prices continued to remain stable at 40,500 VND/kg.
• The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 38,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. Prices in the Central region remained stable between 35,500 and 40,000 VND/kg. Prices in the Southeast region remained stable at 35,500 to 36,000 VND/kg. Southwestern Vietnam maintained prices around 36,000 – 39,000 VND/kg.
• The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 43,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. Northern Vietnam maintained prices in the range of 44,500 – 46,500 VND/kg. Central Vietnam remained stable around 35,500 – 43,000 VND/kg. Southeastern Vietnam recorded no price fluctuations, currently ranging from 35,500 – 37,500 VND/kg. Southwestern Vietnam continued to maintain prices at 43,000 – 46,500 VND/kg.
