1.PIG PRICE
Today, June 1st, live pig prices recorded a slight decrease in most areas nationwide. Live pigs are currently being bought and sold at around 65,000 – 69,000 VND/kg, nearly 1,400 VND/kg lower than the price recorded during the same period last week.
- Northern region: Live pig prices on June 1st decreased by 500 VND/kg in some provinces and cities, bringing the purchase price across the region to 67,500 – 69,000 VND/kg, nearly 750 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.
- Central and Central Highlands regions: A downward trend was also observed in most provinces and cities, with a decrease of 500-1,000 VND/kg. Currently, traders are purchasing live pigs at around 65,000-66,500 VND/kg, a price nearly 1,400 VND/kg lower than the price recorded in the same period last week.
- Southern region: Live pig prices on June 1st also decreased by 500-1,000 VND/kg in most provinces and cities. Traders are currently purchasing pigs at around 65,000-65,500 VND/kg, a price nearly 2,400 VND/kg lower than the price recorded in the same period last week.
- Pigs of the GF24 generation, raised according to Greenfeed’s standard process, with meat quality receiving many positive reviews from traders, are currently selling for 500-1,000 VND/kg higher than the average price offered by other companies.

2.POULTRY PRICE
Prices for colored chickens in the Northern region decreased slightly on June 1st. Minh Du chicken prices also saw a slight decrease in the Southeastern region but rebounded to increase in the Southwestern provinces. Duck meat prices continued to show positive developments, especially in the Northern provinces.
- Ri chicken prices in the Northern region decreased slightly by 500 VND/kg on June 1st compared to May 31st, with traders currently buying Ri chicken at around 49,000 – 51,500 VND/kg.
- Mía chicken prices in the Northern region remained unchanged on June 1st. The average price of Mía chicken in the North is currently around 49,500 – 50,000 VND/kg.
- Minh Du chicken prices on June 1st continued to remain stable in the Central provinces, currently fluctuating between 44,500 – 46,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, Minh Du chicken prices have slightly decreased, currently trading at around 43,000 – 45,000 VND/kg. In the Mekong Delta region, prices have increased slightly by 500 VND/kg, reaching 46,000 – 47,000 VND/kg.
- Duck meat prices on June 1st recorded an upward trend nationwide. The North continued its impressive increase with a rise of 3,000 – 4,000 VND/kg today, with duck meat prices in this area reaching 45,000 – 47,000 VND/kg. The Central region increased by 2,000 – 3,000 VND/kg compared to May 31st, with current purchase prices reaching 35,000 – 40,000 VND/kg. Prices in the Southeast region increased by nearly 3,000 VND/kg, currently reaching 34,000 – 35,000 VND/kg. Prices in the Southwest region increased by 1,000 – 2,500 VND/kg compared to May 31st, currently standing at 33,500 – 34,500 VND/kg.
