1.PIG PRICE

Today, May 27th, live pig prices saw a slight decrease in some provinces in the Southeast region. Other areas recorded no price fluctuations today. Live pigs are currently being bought and sold at around 66,500 – 69,000 VND/kg, nearly 400 VND/kg lower than the price recorded during the same period last week.

  • Northern region: Live pig prices on May 27th remained unchanged compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 68,500 – 69,000 VND/kg. This price is still nearly 300 VND/kg higher than the same period last week.

Central and Central Highlands regions: A slight decrease was recorded in some provinces of the South Central region.   • Southern region: Live pig prices on May 27th decreased by 500 VND/kg in some provinces of the Eastern region. Traders are currently buying pigs at around 66,500 – 68,000 VND/kg, nearly 1,000 VND/kg lower than the price recorded in the same period last week.
  • Live pigs of the GF24 generation, raised according to Greenfeed’s standard process, with meat quality receiving many positive reviews from traders, are currently selling at a price 500 – 1,000 VND/kg higher than the average price of other companies.

2.POULTRY PRICE

Northern Ri chicken prices on May 25th continued their downward trend, while Minh Du chicken prices in the South maintained their upward momentum. Duck meat prices today showed contrasting trends, continuing to rise sharply in the North but slightly decreasing in the South.

  • Northern Ri chicken prices on May 25th decreased slightly by 500 VND/kg compared to May 25th, with traders currently buying Ri chicken at around 51,000 – 54,000 VND/kg.
  • Northern Mia chicken prices remained stable on May 27th, ranging from 49,500 – 50,000 VND/kg.
  • Minh Du chicken prices on May 27th remained stable in the Central provinces, fluctuating between 44,500 – 46,500 VND/kg. The Southeast region also recorded no fluctuations on May 27th, currently trading at 43,000 – 44,000 VND/kg. The Southwestern provinces continued to see an increase of 500 VND/kg on May 27th, bringing the purchase price in the region to 45,000 – 45,500 VND/kg.
  • Duck meat prices on May 27th showed mixed trends. The North continued its impressive upward trend with an increase of 3,000 – 4,000 VND/kg today, currently reaching 35,000 – 36,000 VND/kg. The Central region increased by 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, with the current purchase price reaching 31,000 – 34,500 VND/kg. The Southeast region recorded no change compared to yesterday, currently at 31,000 – 32,000 VND/Kg. The Southwest region continued to record a decrease on May 27th, currently at around 30,500 – 31,000 VND/Kg.
