1.PIG PRICE

Pork prices on June 18th generally remained stable nationwide. The average price of live pigs fluctuated between 62,500 and 68,500 VND/kg, reaching an average of 66,000 VND/kg, similar to yesterday but still 250 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.

• Northern region: The average price of live pigs reached 68,000 VND/kg, remaining stable compared to yesterday and 250 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. Currently, most localities are trading within the range of 66,500 – 68,500 VND/kg.
• Central and Central Highlands region: The average price of live pigs reached 64,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday but 750 VND/kg lower than last week. The prevailing purchase price currently ranges from 63,500 to 64,500 VND/kg.
• Southern region: Live pig prices show mixed trends across regions. The Southeast region maintains an average of 62,500 VND/kg, similar to yesterday but 750 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Meanwhile, the Southwest region decreased by 250 VND/kg, down to 63,000 VND/kg and 500 VND/kg lower than last week. The prevailing transaction price in the Southern region is currently in the range of 62,500 – 63,000 VND/kg.
• The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) currently reaches 67,000 VND/kg, about 950 VND/kg higher than the national average live pig price, continuing to maintain a positive difference thanks to the quality and uniformity of the pig herd.

2.POULTRY PRICE

Prices for Ri chicken and Minh Du chicken remained stable on June 18th compared to yesterday, while Mia chicken prices decreased in both the North and Central regions; meanwhile, duck meat prices continued to adjust downwards in many areas nationwide.

• Ri chicken prices in the North on June 18th were similar to yesterday. Currently, traders are buying Ri chicken at around 41,000 – 42,500 VND/kg.
• Mia chicken prices in the North decreased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently trading commonly in the range of 46,500 – 48,000 VND/kg. In the Central region, prices dropped sharply by 1,000 VND/kg, fluctuating around 45,500 – 46,000 VND/kg.
• The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 46,000 VND/kg, similar to yesterday. In Central Vietnam, prices remained stable at around 43,500 – 44,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices decreased slightly by 250 VND/kg, currently trading around 46,250 – 46,750 VND/kg. Prices in the Southwest region remained stable, generally ranging from 46,750 – 47,750 VND/kg.
• The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 42,000 VND/kg, down 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Prices in the North decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently fluctuating between 44,000 – 45,500 VND/kg. Prices in Central Vietnam increased by 750 VND/kg, generally ranging from 37,500 – 43,000 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg, trading at 36,500 – 38,000 VND/kg, while in the Southwest region, prices also decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently ranging from 36,500 – 37,000 VND/kg.
