Evaluating location selection, planning, design, and cost estimate for livestock farming barn, shelter construction is the first step in livestock development and shape the conditions of the barns, shelters and the make a construction cost estimate of the farm owner for future livestock operation.

  • Serve as a basis for negotiation and agreement, contract signing: Making the cost estimate helps the farmers to obtain the cost of the bid package items, the direct costs such as materials, equipment and labor, thereby being proactive in negotiating and signing the agreements, contracts to ensure the benefits (For the farm owner, it will help select a contractor with a suitable price; For the contractor, it will help to ensure the desired profit).
  • Making a progress for construction implementation: Making the estimate will help the farm owner to obtain the items to be done; thereby to plan the implementation progress according to each specific stage, arrange the work which should be done first, and later as a basis for making the payment stages when negotiating and signing contracts and implementing the items reasonably to avoid wasting labor and equipment due to not failure to use the capacity optimally.
  • Determine the correct quantity, type, and brand of materials and equipment at beginning: Depending on the needs and initial budget, choose the appropriate type of materials to ensure the completion of the project with the desired budget because in reality, today many construction materials and equipment on the market are various with the same type but in very different prices.
  • Dividing the bidding package: Dividing the bidding package will make a better control and easier contractor selection.
