Updated prices as of April 29, 2026 for livestock products

1.PIG PRICE

Today, April 29th, the price of live pigs remains relatively stable compared to yesterday. Live pigs are being bought and sold at around 63,500 – 69,000 VND/kg, an increase of nearly 500 VND/kg compared to last week’s prices. Southern Vietnam continues to maintain the highest prices nationwide.

  • Northern Vietnam: Prices on April 29th remained unchanged compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 63,500 – 64,500 VND/kg, nearly 400 VND/kg higher than the same period last week.
  • Central and Central Highlands regions: Prices remained stable today, with the average purchase price of live pigs hovering around 66,000 – 67,000 VND/kg, approximately 500 VND/kg higher than last week.
  • Southern region: On April 29th, live pig prices recorded a slight increase in Tay Ninh. Traders are currently buying pigs at around 68,500 – 69,000 VND/kg, which is still nearly 600 VND/kg higher than last week.
  • Live pigs of the GF24 generation, raised according to Greenfeed’s standard process, with meat quality receiving many positive reviews from traders, are currently selling at a price 500 – 1,000 VND/kg higher than the average price of other companies.

2.POULTRY PRICE

  • Northern Ri chicken prices remained unchanged on April 29th, bringing the purchase price of Ri chicken in the North to 50,500 – 51,500 VND/kg.
  • Northern Mia chicken prices also remained stable on April 29th compared to yesterday. Accordingly, the average price of Mia chicken in the North is fluctuating between 52,500 – 54,000 VND/kg.
  • Minh Du chicken prices recorded a slight increase in the Southeast region. Accordingly, Central Vietnam did not record any changes today, with the average price across the region currently at 41,000 – 42,000 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices increased by 500 VND/kg in some areas, bringing the purchase price on April 28th to 43,000 – 44,000 VND/kg. The Southwest region maintained its price compared to the previous day, fluctuating between 45,000 – 45,500 VND/kg.
  • On April 29th, duck meat prices showed a downward trend. Specifically, in the North, prices decreased by 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating around 29,500 – 30,500 VND/kg. The Central region also recorded a decrease of about 1,500 VND/kg, currently being purchased at around 31,500 – 34,000 VND/kg. In the Southern region, prices decreased by 2,000 – 4,000 VND/kg, currently fluctuating at 29,000 – 30,000 VND/kg in the Southeast region, and around 33,000 – 34,000 VND/kg in the Southwest region.
