1.PIG PRICE

Today, April 9th, live pig prices remained stable nationwide. The latest reports indicate live pig prices are currently trading between 63,000 and 68,000 VND/kg, nearly 1,000 VND/kg higher than last week. The Southern region continues to have the highest prices.

Northern region: Live pig prices remained stable on April 9th, with the average price across the region currently at 62,000 – 63,000 VND/kg, 1,000 VND/kg higher than the price recorded at the same time last week.

Central and Central Highlands regions: Live pig prices also showed no change today, trading between 63,000 and 65,500 VND/kg, 500 VND/kg higher than last week.

Southern region: Live pig prices remained stable on April 9th, fluctuating between 66,500 and 68,000 VND/kg, nearly 700 VND/kg higher than the prices recorded at the same time last week.

Live pigs of the GF24 generation, raised according to Greenfeed’s standard process, with meat quality receiving many positive reviews from traders, are currently selling for 500-1,000 VND/kg higher than the average price from other companies.

2.POULTRY PRICE

Ri chicken prices in the Northern region did not fluctuate on April 9th, with traders currently purchasing Ri chickens in the Northern region at around 49,500 – 51,000 VND/kg.

Northern Mia chicken prices remained stable on April 9th. The average price of Mia chicken in the North is currently fluctuating between 49,500 and 51,000 VND/kg.

Minh Du chicken prices continued to decrease slightly in some provinces in the South on April 9th. Specifically, some provinces in the Southwestern region saw a slight decrease of 500 VND/kg, reaching around 38,000 – 40,000 VND/kg. The Southeastern region also recorded a decrease of 500 – 1,000 VND/kg in most provinces and cities, bringing the general price level to 36,500 – 37,500 VND/kg. The Central region continued to maintain stable prices, currently fluctuating between 43,000 – 44,000 VND/kg.

Duck meat prices on April 9th ​​showed mixed trends. Accordingly, duck meat prices in Northern Vietnam remained stable on April 9th, fluctuating between 30,500 and 31,500 VND/kg. In Central Vietnam, prices decreased by 500-1,000 VND/kg, now at 35,000-37,000 VND/kg. Conversely, Southern provinces recorded increases of 1,000-2,000 VND/kg in most provinces and cities, pushing duck meat prices up to 38,000-44,000 VND/kg in the Southeast region and 44,000-45,000 VND/kg in the Southwest region.
