Updated prices as of April 8, 2026 for livestock products

1. PIG PRICE

Pig prices on April 8th showed an upward trend in the Southern region, while the Northern and Central regions experienced a stable day. Market prices are currently fluctuating between 63,000 and 68,000 VND/kg, averaging around 65,000 VND/kg, a slight increase of 500 VND/kg compared to April 7th and nearly 1,000 VND/kg higher than the previous week.

Northern region: Pig prices remained stable on April 7th, with the overall price level across the region currently at 62,000 – 63,000 VND/kg. This price has increased by nearly 1,500 VND/kg compared to the same time last week.
Central and Central Highlands regions: Live pig prices remained unchanged today, trading between 63,000 and 65,500 VND/kg, nearly 500 VND/kg higher than last week.

Southern regions: A rebound in prices was observed in one province/city, with live pig prices currently fluctuating between 66,500 and 68,000 VND/kg. Today’s price is 500 VND/kg higher than yesterday and nearly 500 VND/kg higher than the price recorded at the same time last week.

Live pigs of the GF24 generation, raised according to Greenfeed’s standard process and receiving positive feedback from traders, are currently selling for 500-1,000 VND/kg higher than the average price offered by other companies.

2. POULTRY PRICES

Ri chicken prices decreased slightly by 500 VND/kg in provinces north of the Red River Delta, but remained stable in the south. Currently, Ri chickens in the North are being purchased by traders at around 49,500 – 51,000 VND/kg.

Mia chicken prices in the North did not record any changes on April 8th. Accordingly, the average price of Mía chicken in the North is currently fluctuating between 49,500 – 51,000 VND/kg.

Minh Du chicken prices on April 7th recorded a slight decrease in the South. Accordingly, the price decreased slightly by 500 VND/kg in some provinces in the Southwest, to around 39,000 – 40,000 VND/kg. The Southeast region recorded no price fluctuations on April 8th, with Minh Du chicken purchase prices in the area ranging from 37,000 to 38,000 VND/kg. The Central region continued to maintain stable prices today, currently fluctuating between 43,000 and 44,000 VND/kg.

Duck meat prices on April 8th showed mixed trends. Specifically, duck meat prices in the North reversed sharply, falling by nearly 2,500 VND/kg to 30,000-31,000 VND/kg. The Central region also saw a decrease of 1,000-2,000 VND/kg, currently at 36,000-37,500 VND/kg. Prices in the Southeast region increased by 500-1,000 VND/kg, currently reaching 38,000-42,000 VND/kg, but remained stable in the Southwest region at around 42,000-43,000 VND/kg.
