April 1, 2026 Updated prices of livestock products today

1.PIG PRICE

• A slight decrease was recorded in one province in the Central and Southeastern regions, while other areas maintained prices compared to March 31st. Currently, the price of live pigs on the market is fluctuating between 61,500 and 67,000 VND/kg, not significantly different from March 31st but 1,500 VND/kg lower than last week.
• Northern region: Live pig prices have not seen many new fluctuations; the average price across the region currently ranges from 61,500 to 62,500 VND/kg, which is still 2,000 VND/kg lower than last week.
• Central and Central Highlands regions: A decrease of 500 VND/kg was recorded in some provinces in the region. Currently, live pig prices are trading in the range of 63,500 – 65,000 VND/kg, down nearly 400 VND/kg compared to March 31st and almost 2,000 VND/kg lower than last week.
• Southern region: A slight decrease of 500 VND/kg was recorded in some provinces in the Southeast region. Currently, traders are buying live pigs at around 66,000-67,000 VND/kg, not significantly different from March 31st but still 300 VND/kg lower than the same time last week.
• Live pigs of the GF24 generation, raised according to GreenFeed’s standard process and receiving many positive reviews from traders, are currently selling at a price 500-1,000 VND/kg higher than the average price of other companies.

2.POULTRY PRICES

• Ri chicken prices decreased slightly by 500 VND/kg in most Northern provinces. Traders in the region are currently buying Ri chicken at around 49,000-50,500 VND/kg.
• Northern Mia chicken prices remained stable on April 1st. Traders are currently buying Mia chicken in the North at around 51,000-53,000 VND/kg.
• Minh Du chicken prices did not fluctuate on April 1st. Currently, Minh Du chicken prices are ranging from 43,000-44,000 VND/kg in the Central region, 38,000-39,000 VND/kg in the Southeastern provinces, and around 39,000-40,000 VND/kg in the Southwestern provinces.
• On March 25th, duck meat prices showed a downward trend in most provinces and cities nationwide. According to reports from the Northern market, duck meat prices decreased slightly by 500 VND/kg to 28,000-29,000 VND/kg. In the Central region, prices decreased by 500-1,000 VND/kg depending on the area, fluctuating between 31,000-34,000 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices decreased by 1,000-2,000 VND/kg, currently at 33,000-35,000 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices decreased by 500-1,000 VND/kg, currently being purchased at around 35,000-36,000 VND/kg.
