1.PIG PRICE
Pork prices on August 14th decreased in the southern provinces. Nationwide pork purchase prices ranged from 55,000 to 58,000 VND/kg, averaging 57,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 2,500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.
- Northern region: Average pork price reached 57,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 3,250 VND/kg lower than last week. Common transaction prices ranged from 56,000 to 58,000 VND/kg.
- Central and Central Highlands region: Average pork price reached 57,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 1,000 VND/kg lower than last week. Common purchase prices ranged from 56,500 to 57,500 VND/kg.
- Southern Region: The average price in the Southeast region reached 56,500 VND/kg, down 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,250 VND/kg lower than last week. The average price in the Southwest region reached 57,000 VND/kg, down 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 2,000 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Current transaction prices in the Southern region range from 55,000 to 58,000 VND/kg.
- The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) is currently 58,000 VND/kg, approximately 950 VND/kg higher than the market price, continuing to maintain its advantage due to the high quality of the meat, which is highly valued by traders.

2.POULTRY PRICE
On August 14th, the poultry market saw a decrease in the prices of Ri and Mia chickens in the North, while Minh Du chicken prices saw a slight decrease in the Central region but increased in the Southwestern provinces. Duck meat prices decreased in the North and South, but increased in the Central region.
- Ri chicken prices in the North decreased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently trading between 45,000 and 46,500 VND/kg.
- Mia chicken prices in the North decreased by 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating between 43,500 and 48,000 VND/kg. In the Central region, Mia chicken prices remained stable at around 37,500 to 38,000 VND/kg.
- The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 37,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Central Vietnam, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently ranging from 36,000 to 38,000 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices also decreased by 500 VND/kg, trading in the range of 35,750 to 36,000 VND/kg. Conversely, in the Southwest region, prices increased by 500 VND/kg, currently commonly ranging from 35,500 to 38,000 VND/kg.
- The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 39,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Northern Vietnam, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently ranging from 33,000 to 36,000 VND/kg. In Central Vietnam, prices increased by 1,000 VND/kg, bringing the purchase price to 40,000 to 44,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices decreased by 750 VND/kg, currently trading in the range of 43,500 – 46,000 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, with traders currently buying at around 45,000 – 46,000 VND/kg.
