1.PIG PRICE

Today, June 2nd, live pig prices recorded a slight decrease in most areas nationwide. Live pigs are currently being bought and sold at around 64,500 – 68,500 VND/kg, nearly 1,250 VND/kg lower than the price recorded during the same period last week.

• Northern region: Live pig prices on June 2nd decreased by 500 VND/kg in some provinces and cities, bringing the purchase price across the region to 67,000 – 68,500 VND/kg, nearly 500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.
• Central and Central Highlands regions: A downward trend was also observed in most provinces and cities, with a decrease of 500-1,000 VND/kg. Currently, traders are purchasing live pigs at around 64,500-66,000 VND/kg, a price nearly 1,700 VND/kg lower than the price recorded in the same period last week.
• Southern region: Live pig prices on June 2nd also decreased by 500-1,000 VND/kg in most provinces and cities. Traders are currently purchasing pigs at around 64,500-65,500 VND/kg, a price nearly 2,400 VND/kg lower than the price recorded in the same period last week.
• Pigs of the GF24 generation, raised according to Greenfeed’s standard process, with meat quality receiving many positive reviews from traders, are currently selling for 500-1,000 VND/kg higher than the average price offered by other companies.

2.POULTRY PRICE

Prices for colored chickens in the Northern region decreased on June 2nd, while Minh Du chicken prices reversed and increased in the Southern provinces. Duck meat prices continued to rise in most areas nationwide, especially in the Northern provinces, but decreased slightly in the Southeast region.

• Ri chicken prices in the Northern region decreased slightly by 500-1,000 VND/kg compared to June 1st, with traders currently buying Ri chicken at around 49,500-50,500 VND/kg.
• Mia chicken prices in the Northern region remained unchanged on June 2nd. The average price of Mía chicken in the Northern region is currently around 49,500-50,500 VND/kg.
• Minh Du chicken prices on June 2nd remained stable in the Central provinces, currently fluctuating between 44,500 and 46,500 VND/kg. The Southern region recorded an increase on June 2nd, with Minh Du chicken prices rising by over 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating around 44,000-46,000 VND/kg in the Southeast and 46,500-47,000 VND/kg in the Southwest.
• Duck meat prices on June 2nd showed an upward trend in most regions nationwide. The Northern region continued its impressive increase, rising by 1,000-2,000 VND/kg today, reaching 47,000-48,500 VND/kg. In the Central region, prices increased by 500-1,000 VND/kg compared to June 1st, bringing the purchase price to 36,000-41,000 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices decreased by 500-1,000 VND/kg, currently at 34,000-35,000 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices increased by 1,000-2,500 VND/kg compared to June 1st, currently reaching 35,000-36,000 VND/kg.
