1.PIG PRICE
Today, April 14th, live pig prices are showing an upward trend in the Northern, Central, and Southeastern regions of Vietnam. According to the latest data, live pigs are being bought and sold at around 62,500 – 68,500 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday and nearly 1,200 VND/kg higher than last week. The Southern region remains the area with the highest prices nationwide.
In the Northern region: live pig prices have reversed their downward trend and are increasing again, with an increase of 500 – 1,000 VND/kg, bringing the average price across the region to 62,500 – 64,000 VND/kg. This price is nearly 1,000 VND/kg higher than the price recorded at the same time last week.
Central and Central Highlands regions: Today’s live pig prices increased by 1,000 VND/kg in most provinces, reaching an average purchase price of 64,500 – 66,500 VND/kg, an increase of over 1,500 VND/kg compared to last week.
Southern regions: Live pig prices increased by 500 VND/kg in some provinces in the Southeast region. Traders are currently purchasing live pigs at around 68,000 – 68,500 VND/kg, nearly 1,500 VND/kg higher than the same time last week.
Live pigs of the GF24 generation, raised according to Greenfeed’s standard process, with meat quality receiving many positive reviews from traders, are currently selling at a price 500 – 1,000 VND/kg higher than the average price of other companies.

2.POULTRY PRICE
On April 14th, the price of Ri chicken in Northern Vietnam decreased by 500 VND/kg in the North Red River Delta region, while remaining stable in the South Red River Delta provinces. Traders are currently buying Ri chicken at around 50,500 – 52,000 VND/kg.
The price of Mia chicken in Northern Vietnam continued to increase by 500 VND/kg in the North Red River Delta provinces. Accordingly, the average price of Mia chicken in Northern Vietnam is fluctuating between 49,500 – 51,000 VND/kg.
The price of Minh Du chicken on April 14th showed positive developments in the Southern provinces. Accordingly, Southern provinces recorded an increase of 500-1,000 VND/kg in most provinces and cities, bringing the price of Minh Du chicken in the Southeast to 35,500-37,500 VND/kg and around 39,500-41,000 VND/kg in the Southwest. The Central region continued to maintain its price today at 42,500-43,000 VND/kg.
The price of duck meat on April 14th continued its downward trend nationwide. In the North, the price of duck decreased slightly by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently at 27,500-28,000 VND/kg. In the Central region, the price decreased by 500-1,000 VND/kg, currently around 32,000-33,000 VND/kg. Prices in the Southeast region decreased by 1,000 – 1,500 VND/kg, fluctuating between 33,000 – 37,000 VND/kg, while in the Southwest region, prices decreased by 2,000 VND/kg, to 36,000 – 37,000 VND/kg.
