Currently, traders are purchasing live pigs at around 65,000-66,500 VND\/kg, a price nearly 1,400 VND\/kg lower than the price recorded in the same period last week.<\/li>\n<li>Southern region: Live pig prices on June 1st also decreased by 500-1,000 VND\/kg in most provinces and cities. Minh Du chicken prices also saw a slight decrease in the Southeastern region but rebounded to increase in the Southwestern provinces. Duck meat prices continued to show positive developments, especially in the Northern provinces.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ri chicken prices in the Northern region decreased slightly by 500 VND\/kg on June 1st compared to May 31st, with traders currently buying Ri chicken at around 49,000 \u2013 51,500 VND\/kg.<\/li>\n<li>M\u00eda chicken prices in the Northern region remained unchanged on June 1st. The average price of M\u00eda chicken in the North is currently around 49,500 \u2013 50,000 VND\/kg.<\/li>\n<li>Minh Du chicken prices on June 1st continued to remain stable in the Central provinces, currently fluctuating between 44,500 \u2013 46,500 VND\/kg. In the Southeast region, Minh Du chicken prices have slightly decreased, currently trading at around 43,000 \u2013 45,000 VND\/kg. In the Mekong Delta region, prices have increased slightly by 500 VND\/kg, reaching 46,000 \u2013 47,000 VND\/kg.<\/li>\n<li>Duck meat prices on June 1st recorded an upward trend nationwide. The North continued its impressive increase with a rise of 3,000 \u2013 4,000 VND\/kg today, with duck meat prices in this area reaching 45,000 \u2013 47,000 VND\/kg. The Central region increased by 2,000 \u2013 3,000 VND\/kg compared to May 31st, with current purchase prices reaching 35,000 \u2013 40,000 VND\/kg. Prices in the Southeast region increased by nearly 3,000 VND\/kg, currently reaching 34,000 \u2013 35,000 VND\/kg.
