Live pigs are currently being bought and sold at around 66,000 \u2013 69,000 VND\/kg, nearly 1,200 VND\/kg lower than the price recorded during the same period last week.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Northern region: Live pig prices on May 29th decreased by 500 VND\/kg in some provinces and cities, bringing the purchase price across the region to 68,000 \u2013 69,000 VND\/kg, a decrease of 1,000 VND\/kg compared to the same period last week.<\/li>\n<li>Central and Central Highlands regions: A downward trend was also observed in some provinces and cities. Currently, traders are purchasing live pigs at around 66,000 \u2013 67,500 VND\/kg, a price nearly 1,200 VND\/kg lower than the price recorded in the same period last week.<\/li>\n<li>Southern region: Live pig prices on May 29th decreased by 500 \u2013 1,000 VND\/kg in most provinces and cities.
