Live pigs are currently being bought and sold at around 66,000 \u2013 69,000 VND\/kg, nearly 1,200 VND\/kg lower than the price recorded during the same period last week.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Northern region: Live pig prices on May 29th decreased by 500 VND\/kg in some provinces and cities, bringing the purchase price across the region to 68,000 &#8211; 69,000 VND\/kg, a decrease of 1,000 VND\/kg compared to the same period last week.<\/li>\n<li>Central and Central Highlands regions: A downward trend was also observed in some provinces and cities. Currently, traders are purchasing live pigs at around 66,000 \u2013 67,500 VND\/kg, a price nearly 1,200 VND\/kg lower than the price recorded in the same period last week.<\/li>\n<li>Southern region: Live pig prices on May 29th decreased by 500 \u2013 1,000 VND\/kg in most provinces and cities. Traders are currently purchasing pigs at around 66,000 &#8211; 66,500 VND\/kg, a price nearly 2,000 VND\/kg lower than the price recorded in the same period last week.<\/li>\n<li>Pigs of the GF24 generation, raised according to Greenfeed&#8217;s standard process, with meat quality receiving many positive reviews from traders, are currently selling for 500-1,000 VND\/kg higher than the average price offered by other companies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7418\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenfeed.com.vn\/thuc-an-chan-nuoi-gia-suc-gia-cam\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/2aOboQZmk6UkaXMWgYpmP92ZyzLBATxwbjPokzyq.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1858\" height=\"2560\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>2.POULTRY PRICE<\/h2>\n<p>Prices for Ri Lai chickens in Northern Vietnam dropped sharply on May 29th, while Minh Du chickens in Southern Vietnam saw a slight decrease. Duck meat prices continued to show positive developments, particularly in Northern provinces.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ri Lai chicken prices in Northern Vietnam today, May 29th, decreased by nearly 3,000 VND\/kg compared to May 28th, with traders currently buying Ri Lai chickens at around 49,000 \u2013 51,000 VND\/kg.<\/li>\n<li>Mia chicken prices in Northern Vietnam remained unchanged on May 29th, currently ranging from 49,500 \u2013 50,000 VND\/kg.<\/li>\n<li>Minh Du chicken prices on May 29th continued to remain stable in Central Vietnam, fluctuating between 44,500 \u2013 46,500 VND\/kg. The Southeast region also recorded no price change on May 29th, currently ranging from 44,000 to 46,000 VND\/kg. The Southwest region saw a slight decrease of 500 VND\/kg, now at 45,000 to 46,000 VND\/kg.<\/li>\n<li>Duck meat prices on May 29th showed an upward trend nationwide. The North continued its impressive increase with a rise of 3,000 VND\/kg today, reaching 41,000 to 42,000 VND\/kg. The Central region increased by 500-1,000 VND\/kg compared to yesterday, with current purchase prices reaching 31,000 to 37,000 VND\/kg. The Southeast region maintained prices around 31,000 to 33,000 VND\/kg.
