Live pig prices in the North have caught up with those in the Southern region.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Northern region: Live pig prices on May 19th increased by 1,000 VND\/kg compared to yesterday, with prices across the region currently fluctuating between 68,500 and 69,000 VND\/kg. This is nearly 1,000 VND\/kg higher than the same period last week.<\/li>\n<li>Central and Central Highlands regions: A slight increase of 500 VND\/kg was recorded in some provinces of the North Central region, bringing the purchase price of pigs across the region to 68,000 \u2013 68,500 VND\/kg, nearly 500 VND\/kg higher than the price recorded in the same period last week.<\/li>\n<li>Southern region: Live pig prices continued to remain stable today, May 19th. Traders are currently purchasing pigs at around 68,500 &#8211; 69,000 VND\/kg, a price equivalent to that recorded in the same period last week.<\/li>\n<li>Live pigs of the GF24 generation, raised according to Greenfeed&#8217;s standard process, with meat quality receiving many positive reviews from traders, are currently selling at a price 500 &#8211; 1,000 VND\/kg higher than the average price of other companies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7106\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenfeed.com.vn\/thuc-an-chan-nuoi-gia-suc-gia-cam\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/2aOboQXUhRl2EnyTt8Nq6qNFIT3iWOGSEr0sB86a-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1858\" height=\"2560\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>2.POULTRY PRICE<\/h2>\n<p>Chicken prices increased on May 19th in both Northern and Southern Vietnam. Meanwhile, duck meat prices also saw positive developments in the Northern and Southwestern provinces, while experiencing a slight decrease in the Southeastern region.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Northern Ri chicken prices increased by 1,000 VND\/kg today, May 19th, compared to May 18th. Traders are currently buying Ri chicken at around 51,500 \u2013 52,500 VND\/kg.<\/li>\n<li>Northern Mia chicken prices saw a slight decrease of 500 VND\/kg in the provinces south of the Red River Delta. Accordingly, the price of Mia chicken in the North is currently in the range of 50,500 \u2013 51,500 VND\/kg.<\/li>\n<li>Minh Du chicken prices remained stable in the Central provinces, fluctuating between 44,500 \u2013 46,500 VND\/kg. The Southeast region also recorded no price changes, currently hovering around 42,000 \u2013 45,000 VND\/kg. The Southwest region continued to increase by 500 VND\/kg in some areas, reaching 44,000 \u2013 44,500 VND\/kg.<\/li>\n<li>Duck meat prices on May 19th showed mixed trends. The North recorded an increase of 1,000 VND\/kg on May 19th, pushing prices up to 26,000 \u2013 27,000 VND\/kg. The Central region increased by 500 VND\/kg in some provinces, currently reaching 29,500 \u2013 32,000 VND\/kg. In the Southeast region, prices have slightly decreased by 500-1,000 VND\/kg compared to May 18th, currently ranging from 32,000-34,000 VND\/kg.
